Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. In addition to her graceful beauty, her continued success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as a performer. In the 1970s the model began her career. She quickly established herself as one of the top actors in the industry. Then, in the mid 1990s she was enrolled in the theatre and acting. Then in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo made her screen debut in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 portraying the role of Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut movie. Some critics who were initially skeptical of her performance skills, were eventually won over when they saw her constant work. Her most adored performance by critics was in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held the line in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that acting isn't something she enjoys. She went on a self-imposed hiatus. After a prolonged break, she came back for her part in Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler which was directed by husband. She then went on to star in light-hearted comedies including The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success in the UFC. She started her professional career by being an amateur, taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Thanks to her accomplishments within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas is a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas was born on June 29th on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player as a child. Invicta Fighting Championships gave her an opportunity to fight professionally at the age of the age of 18, after she knocked down two of her opponents. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, aged 22 she signed her up to compete as a strawweight in the UFC. Rose has experienced highs as well as her lows as well throughout her career, yet she has always come out on the top. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in just under 3 minutes round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose has also created MMA history with this match since she was the first woman to compete to win the title of champion at an organization that is a major one. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this one, and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
